Chris Yost, the creative power behind the cancelled, awesome, Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes animated series was interviewed by Alex Lynch, from Comicbookmovie.com, where he explained some of the creative process that went into the production of the 52 episodes hit series, by answering some interesting questions, such as, why the masters of Evil were chosen as the first “main” antagonist to face the heroes, where Yost answered: “ The ‘equal and opposite’ villains are always fun, and we’re able to mix and match. There’s a lot of fun to having Captain America fight Crimson Dynamo, Hawkeye battling Enchantress and the Wasp against Abomination. They’re match-ups you don’t see every day. Plus, we were able to really have fun with the villains themselves. Nothing’s better than a team willing to kill and double cross each other in the blink of an eye. It highlights why the Avengers work so well. It’s more than just heroes fighting together. It’s about trust.”

Roughly two weeks after Joss Whedon(Avengers director) and Kevin Feige(Marvel studios President), announced that Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Coulson, in the SHIELD TV series, Deadline reports today a second, official, casting for the series. According to the report, Asian actress Ming-na (known for her role as Chun-li in the 1994 street Fighter movie, as well as a more recent role in Stargate Universe and ER) will join the series as SHIELD agent Melinda May.
