Sure we all heard Mr Loeb mentioning it couple times, but we all doubted that Marvel’s upcoming Avengers Assemble animated series will be, really, a sequel to the soon to end, excellent, Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes. However, it now seems that, as fans, we jumped the gun. Man of Action(Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joseph Kelly, and Steven T. Seagle), who have recently been revealed as the Executive producers for the upcoming show, confirmed that Avengers Assemble will not contradict Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and while different in tone, it will serve as a TRUE continuation of the current show.
From Man Of Action: “It will continue much of what the movie started, it’ll be slightly different from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. It’s really going to focus on the core characters… but it is not some kind of drastic change from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into Marvel’s Avengers Assemble. Everything that’s established in [Earth’s Mightiest Heroes] and just running from that point on. It’s like Bendis’ Avengers going into Marvel NOW! Avengers… Everything that happened in Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, we’re going to keep consistency from that, to the new show.”
when talking about the animation style of the new Show, Man of action replied: “Marvel, with the success of the movie, is really focused in on this show, making sure that everything in it is top-notch. It’s really going to be a remarkably different type of animation than what you’ve seen earlier coming out of any Marvel property.”
So does this mean in avengers Assemble, the skrull invasion had happened? It seems so, and hopefully we will get a conclusion to Thor’s suture act that was left unresolved in the current EMH seires. All in all, this definitely sound promising!
And for those worried that the show will be similar to Ultimate spider-man, especially that now Man of Action is involved, i will say that, if anything we’ve heard is true, the show will be nothing like the any previous Marvel animated series. After Avengers movie success, and after Fans outcry over Ultimate spider-man cartoon tone, i am hearing that Marvel has learned its lesson, and knows, now, what fans want from an animated series.
Keep checking back as we try to dig more info about next year’s Avengers Assemble Animated Series.

I only hope for 3 things:
1.i hope the series will be totally different fron the stupid comedy show (Ultimate spiderman).
2.i hope Cap.america will lead the team instead of ironman,i know ironman is cool but i see cap more cooler.
3.bring more marvel characters like x-men,young avengers,next avengers,daredevil,,,,,,,,etc
BUT i dont understand what he mean by(It’s really going to focus on the core characters).

I’ll believe it when i see it!
these man of action guys are the same one in charge of the shitty ultimate spider-man. so call me skeptical, but i wouldn’t believe someone who thought making spider-man a kid’s comedy show with no character attributes to the spidey from comics or even movie and breaking thew 4th wall, was a great idea.
The fact of the matter is, Man of action sucks, and Jeph Loeb has gone lazy and out of ideas after his great Batman years. So there is a big chance assemble is going to be shit

I want only one thing from the series if it is a true sequel…
KEEP WASP ON THE TEAM. She was WAY too funny and entertaining to be written out. She’s the spunky lovable heart of this version of the team. And keep the EMH outfit when she comes back, will ya? Best costume the character’s ever had.

I agree with Aaron, the Wasp was a wonderful part of AvengersEMH. Not sure if she’s in the new show or not? This show doesn’t sound like it will be like Ultimate Spider-Man, so finger’s crossed.

Still pisses me off thinking of that garbage Ultimate Spiderman still being on air.
As long as that crap is still on air, Marvel animation will be second to DC animation.
