You all know that Marvel is making a SHIELD TV series, developed by avengers director Joss whedon. Not much is known about the setting or characters of the series, but couple interesting rumors have surfaced on the Twitter page of Roger Wardell, who seems to be get his information from the inside of Marvel studios.
Before getting to the good stuff, i must mention that all the previous rumors stated by Wardell, concerning some of the previous Marvel movie have been proven correct, and up to this day, he is yet to be proven wrong. Now that we put that out of the way, let state what Roger has tweeted regarding the upcoming SHIELD TV Series:
- Actors like Cobie Smulders(Maria Hill), Maximiliano Hernández, and Titus Welliver will be used on the Joss Whedon Marvel TV show
- The series may use archive footage from the Avengers.
- Marvel is hoping for SHIELD to kickstart the MCU in television form. Much like how Iron Man started the MCU in the first place.
- Elements of the delayed/postponed series Mockingbird will be incorporated into S.H.I.E.L.D.
- Marvel will use S.H.I.E.L.D. to introduce new heroes and villains into the MCU.
Now as i mentioned, these are still to be considered rumors, so do take them with a grain of salt. But if they do happen to be true, which element of these rumors are you the most excited about ?
